What’s the fastest way to send an item?

Express Courier International is the fastest delivery service offered by Australia Post. It also offers online tracking, signature on delivery and courier pick up.

How long will it take for my item to arrive?

Delivery times vary depending in where you are sending to, and which service you use. Enter the destination country in our International Post Guide to find details for each country.

How much does it cost to send something overseas?

Prices vary depending on destination, the service used, and any optional extras such as insurance (extra cover) or delivery confirmation. You can enter the detail of your item in our Postage Assessment Calculator to find out how much it will cost.

How do I know when my item has arrived?

Express Courier International offers full tracking online, so you can see when your item has arrived by entering your item number into our tracking service.

Epress Post International (parcels only) offer basic tracking online, which also includes delviery information, available by entering your item number into our tracking service.

What do I need to know about customs regulations when sending overseas?

To ensure prompt delivery, ensure that the item you are sending is accepted by the country to which you are you are sending it. You can enter your destination country into our International Post Guide for a list of any prohibited or restricted items.

You can also check that the item you are sending is not considered by Australia Post to be a dangerous or prohibited item.

What is a prepaid product?

Prepaid products are envelopes, padded bags, satchels and boxes which you can purchase from retail outlets either individually or in bulk, and keep aside to use as you require them. Most prepaid items can simply be dropped into a Street Posting Box when you use them, although for aviation security puposes some Air Mail products need to be lodged at a Post Office.

Can I arrange a courier pickup?

Yes, when using Express Courier International, a courier pick up service is available.
